Summary

Worked as part of the web development team using Angular to make web applications. Learned Agile development and gained JIRA skills and SASS skills. Also worked with the Jasmine framework while creating unit tests.
Created the front end of a Shipping Calculator that was to be put into production later in 2022. I added a form to the shipping calculator that would allow the company employees to enter the vendor division, product number, destination zip code, effective date, and quantity and click on the calculate button. Once clicked, the form I made appeared. The form is split into four parts: accurate shipping details, shipping saving details, calculated accurate shipping, and calculated shipping savings. The accurate shipping details part of the form showed the pick pack weight, FedEx zone, pick pack cost, package weight, original zip code, and PFV shipping speed. The shipping saving details showed the product weight and the multi-case discount %. The calculated accurate shipping of the form showed the FedEx shipping base rate, total FedEx surcharges, total freight, pick pack cost, and total accurate shipping cost. The calculated shipping saving part of the form showed the freight cost, quantity, shipping saving amount, shipping saving % applied, and total shipping saving amount for one of those specific products. The Shipping Calculator used SCSS, JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript.
