VP Engineering
Summary
Over 15 years in primarily startup environments. Spent the first part of my career doing frontend development, all self-taught, then transitioned to project and then people management. Have built software engineering orgs at several hypergrowth startups, encompassing almost every software discipline: web (frontend and backend), mobile, SRE, DevOps, QA, data, InfoSec, IT, and technical support.
Expectations
I am looking to scale up an engineering organization in a way that is intentional, sustainable, and strategic to the business, while still being people-first and ethical. Looking for a leadership team that considers diversity, inclusion, and belonging as a non-negotiable, core operating principle. I bring a wealth of knowledge around product management and people operations in addition to being able to define engineering principles and culture. My technical contribution should be in facilitating and aligning my team towards making sound technical decisions, without the need for me to be in the critical path of delivery.
