Summary

I am a UX researcher and designer with an academic background in Cognitive Science (B.S.) and Human-Technology Interaction (MSc.). My fascination with how people perceive and engage with their environments led me to the world of human-centered design through the Design Lab at my alma mater, founded by Dr. Don Norman. Since then, I have been pursuing my passion for creating human-centered design solutions that help uplift people's lives through mixed-method research and design principles. I have taken on various roles in UX research, interaction design, service design, and visual design at companies like Dexcom, frog design, Philips, and Signify around the world.

My experience growing up and studying in China, the United States, and the Netherlands has given me a more objective perspective on cultures, as well as the ability to connect and empathize with users and stakeholders from various backgrounds. I enjoy team collaborations and tackling real-world challenges through creative problem-solving and evidence-based research.

Outside of work, I am a marathon runner, a hobby that allows me to push boundaries and continually challenge myself. I am now seeking full-time opportunities in User Experience (UX), Usability, hoping to optimize user experience and customer journey, and ultimately delivering more intuitive and impactful products to people.

Expectations

I am looking for a permanent full-time role at an international company in the EU, ideally in the Netherlands. My top choice would be related to user research, UX research, or usability/human factors engineering. My second preference would be in service design and UX design.
