UX Researcher

Summary

I have spent the bulk of my career to date in social media listening analytics. Ive enjoyed working in this field for 14 years because I am deeply curious and have found that it is a landscape with vast opportunities to gain insight into peoples needs and behaviors.

I have a passion for understanding people and identifying what matters to and motivates them - making a case for empathy in decision making that leads to innovation and drives change.

In addition, my experience in project management for multiple analytic customers has heightened my attention to detail and ability to organize and execute efficiently.

While my history has included a limited amount of publicly consumable content, the majority of my research and analytic deliverables have been in written form. I am a natural writer and I have a talent for digesting complex concepts and packaging them into clear and concise explanations.

The social listening work that I have been a part of has had broad applications for customer industries and needs. I have helped shape product decisions/strategy, marketing decisions, content strategy/optimization, and crisis monitoring strategies.

I have been responsible for scoping and implementing end-to-end analytic reporting; defining and leading research strategies for each client circumstance. I am very adept at blending qualitative and quantitative data to tell compelling stories - always keeping my audience in mind when framing.

Over the past few years, I have also become more familiar with various UX research methods and have seen how closely social media analytics ties in with them.
