UX Designer
Summary
Im a UX/UI designer with a background in healthcare and both quantitative and qualitative scientific research. In my prior role as a medical assistant, I know the value of dedicating myself to a patient and working with a team of varied skillsets to provide the best care possible. These principles apply in user experience design: the user is always at the center and working collaboratively creates designs that are intuitive and important in peoples lives. The ability to work on projects that focus on the user with research and data backing up design decisions led me to UX. I have experience in:
- User research (competitive analysis, user interviews, content auditing)
- User personas and flows
- Sitemapping
- Usability testing
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Adobe XD, Figma
- HTML, CSS, Python
Im looking to join a team as a junior UX/UI designer. I invite you to look at my resume and Behance portfolio and get in touch with me for any UX/UI opportunities.
Expectations
I'm looking for a collaborative environment for UX/UI designers. I love learning more about design, so I would like to learn from mentors/senior UX designers to understand more about the industry and from developers, product managers, and UX researchers to get a fuller and more well-rounded understanding of UX design. I'm currently in Boston and would prefer a job in the Boston/NYC area or remote. I am willing to relocate for the right job though!
