UX Designer
Summary
I am a UX Designer. I am proficient in using heuristics, the voice of the customer, experience mapping, affinity diagrams, statistical analysis, and other methods to triangulate users' pain points and generate actionable recommendations. I like to try out new tools, processes, and techniques to improve my personal and departmental work. In addition, I've always enjoyed conducting interviews, focus group discussions, surveys, ethnographic research, creating user personas, and generally attempting to make an impact.
I consider myself a creative, big-picture thinker who is obsessed with details but also enjoys experimenting and isn't afraid to make mistakes. I have a strong sense of empathy, which fuels my desire to provide people with authentic, inclusive, and meaningful experiences.
I am currently concentrating on developing user-friendly and innovative solutions for web, mobile, and desktop applications. In my daily work, I cultivate a user-centric and growth mindset, allowing me to strive for intentional, purposeful, and inclusive design that empowers people.
Also, I have prior experience in digital marketing, which has shaped me into a strong user advocate leveraging data (qualitative and quantitative) to create innovative solutions that serve both users and business goals. Coming from a marketing background allows me to keep business goals in mind while advocating for the users.
I'm a personable and energetic collaborator who is driven to inspire and skilled at communicating research results both verbally and visually.
Expectations
I want to work for a company that cares about its employees, have big plans for the future, and take responsibility for everything it does. I want to work for a company where I will be proud to come to work every day and be pushed and challenged in my role because this will allow me to grow as a person.
That being said, some topics pique my interest, particularly sustainability as a driver of digitalization. I'd like to work on projects in the tech industry that make non-tech savvy users feel technologically connected to the overall digital transformation, a sense of belonging.
These projects are more than just software platforms to me. I want to drive meaningful innovation and digitization, with an ear for problems and challenges and a desire to design the perfect solution for people. It is not about using an app to replace a work process or specific tasks. It is about taking the industry's central challenges seriously and addressing them with players from the same industry.
My long-term goals include expanding with a company where I can continue to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and add as much value to the team as possible. I intend to continue honing my skills and participating in related professional organisations.
