UX Designer

Summary

With a foundation in culinary arts and hospitality management, I bring a unique perspective to user experience design. My career began in the restaurant industry, where I honed my skills in organization, team leadership, and system optimization. Transitioning into UX design, I've applied these principles to create intuitive and efficient user experiences. Skilled in user research, interaction design, and prototyping, I have over 3000 hours of experience with Figma. My recent work includes freelance projects that showcase my ability to conduct research, develop branding, and redesign websites for improved user engagement and retention. I hold certification in User Experience Design from General Assembly and have been recognized for my creative approach, winning the GA Fall Hackathon in 2023.

Expectations

First and foremost, I'm looking to learn and grow. I want to be a valuable contributor on projects that make a positive difference, in any arena, and that comes with opening myself up to critique and working in an environment that embraces challenges.

I'd ideally like to work at a company that I can grow with and be a part of for the long haul, rather than one I can use as a stepping stone.

I'm looking for an associate or entry level UX design position where I get to be a part of a dedicated team of product designers and SE's.
