User Experience Strategist

Summary

I'm a UX Designer in Denver, CO. I attended Flatiron School's 6-month UX/UI Design Program and have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from James Madison University. While in college I spent much of my time using IBM SPSS to study civic engagement and voting behavior. Then decided to move to Colorado and began working in procurement. In that role I learned about communication and negotiation, but overwhelmingly I learned how technology can be used to make employee and customers lives so much easier. It inspired me to pursue an education in developing those solutions, so I applied to Flatiron School's scholarship program and was awarded admission and a full-ride. Since I've worked with two non profits and launched my freelance business. I wrapped up my last project in March and I am looking to dive into my next project.

Expectations

I am looking for a diverse and curious organization that is mission driven and hard working. I am looking for opportunities to grow professionally and inspiring leadership to learn from. When assessing a team I look for ambitious and playful teammates and leadership.
