Trainer, Business Communication Skills/Softskills

Summary

I have been a business communication coach for 32 years and and a certified speech pathologist for longer. I offer coaching online in public speaking, pronunciation improvement for native and non-native English speakers, conversational skills such as small talk, and communication skills for leadership development. (These include professional listening and questioning skills, speech rate, critical thinking, executive presence, and more.) Clients often spontaneously tell me how helpful this "just-in-time" customized coaching is to them. My clients come from many industries, occupations and cultures.

An example is a composite client I will call "Tomas". He starts by asking for coaching in public speaking for an upcoming presentation. Then he seeks help with the pronunciation of some words. Finally he requests help with making an upcoming idea-generating meeting more effective, using a modern research-based version of brainstorming.

Expectations

I am seeking part-time remote contract work as a business speech coach or softskills trainer. I have expertise in coaching individuals and small groups online in public speaking, American English pronunciation improvement, speaking more slowly, communication skills for leadership development, making small talk, and interviewing skills.
