Summary

I've spent more than 20 years' in software engineering with a focus on Software-as-a-Service, scalability, performance and usability. I have extensive experience with both back-end and front-end development, primarily with C#, Typescript/JavaScript, React and a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases, and data storage options. I've been in leadership roles for more than 11 years, including four as an engineering manager, leading multiple teams on multiple projects at a time and up to 24 direct reports at once. As a leader, I focus heavily on building into the people, giving them an environment conducive to operating at their peak sustainable level and working closely with them toward their career-growth goals. I believe, when we take care of the people and demonstrate that we want to give them the tools and runway to be successful, their success translates to project- and company-level success.

Expectations

I am looking for an opportunity to lead both people and strategy. My passions are for helping technologists level up and helping companies set long-term strategies and goals while pushing the bleeding edge of technology and challenging the status quo. I also want a job where I can make a significant difference for people, whether that be the end users, directly, or those serviced by the end users.
