Summary

In my role as the ITSD Team Lead at Microgenesis Business Systems, I've been at the forefront of steering the Information Technology and Services Division toward success. Since January 2021, I have been responsible for leading a dynamic team through various challenges and triumphs.

One of my key responsibilities involves conducting regular team meetings and fostering a collaborative environment through team-building activities. In addition, troubleshooting technology issues and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and software have been integral aspects of my daily tasks. This includes performing remote troubleshooting and staying updated on the latest technological advancements by working closely with vendors.

As a Team Lead, part of my role is to train new ITSD employees on the company's software and apps, providing them with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. I also play a pivotal role in advising executives on the best technological solutions for the organization, taking into account the ever-evolving tech landscape.

Monitoring the team's performance and providing constructive feedback, reviewing and recommending equipment upgrades, and ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines are all part of my commitment to maintaining high standards within the ITSD.

Before my role at Microgenesis, I served as a Desktop Support Engineer at ITech Global Business Solutions from October 2019 to December 2020. During this time, I honed my troubleshooting skills, installed and maintained equipment and software, and provided valuable training to new employees.

My journey in the IT field started at Defaultroute DMCC, where I worked in the Service Desk from January 2018 to September 2019. This role required a 24/7 commitment to supporting clients through a ticketing portal, ensuring a 95% internet service uptime. Handling technical and non-technical queries, monitoring networking operations, and managing outage resolutions were critical aspects of this role.

Throughout my career, I've been driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering top-notch IT services. As I continue to lead the ITSD team at Microgenesis, I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
