Summary

My drive and experience in various forms of customer service over the past 15 years, prior experience in a technical escalations queue, as well as my knowledge of client as well as server hardware and their related software (Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.), make me a positive asset to the team.

I am presently in role as a Senior Linux and Virtualization engineer for Dell Technologies, a position I have held for over four years. As part of the Dell ProSupport Enterprise team, my responsibilities include support for any Enterprise customers, up to and including Fortune 500 and state government accounts, maintaining a positive customer experience at all times, reaching a resolution quickly and efficiently, and following up where needed to ensure the best resolution for the customer. I am skilled in Poweredge, Modular, and Cloud hardware, as well as OpenManage, iDRAC, IPMI, OMEM, etc.

I am proficient in open-source software, and have received specialized training in VMware/ESXi, Nutanix, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux. I have completed both RH124 and RH134, and am preparing to sit for the Red Hat Certified Sysadmin exam. Additionally, due to my time as a client technical escalations agent, I am skilled in both client systems, e.g. Ubuntu Desktop, as well as servers and the Ubuntu Server variant, both with and without GUI.

The experience gained at these and other businesses has greatly enhanced my technical expertise. I became proficient in working as a team member and an individual, while maintaining a positive experience for the customer. I work well under pressure, complete projects in a timely manner, and adapt well to change.
