Support Manager


I started my career as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA working for a bank, a start-up software company, and the CDC. Eventually, I moved to a healthcare software company where I worked for 15 years. I started as a Technical Consultant working directly with clients to create custom stored procedures, custom reports, and custom data repairs. I progressed within the group to Manager and then Senior Manager over the teams that provided custom development along with high-level Technical Support.
After my time at the healthcare software company, I had a brief stint as a small SaaS-based start-up handling Tier 1, Tier 2 support, and working on specing custom projects.


I am looking for a position where I can learn and grow.
I enjoy helping people succeed and would like to manage (or help build) a team that works well together.
I want to enjoy coming to work.
I do not mind periodic long days, but I do not want to live at work. There must be a good work/life balance.
I want to feel secure in my job. I do not want to feel like the job is going to go away at any minute.
I do not mind a little travel, but I do not want to be gone all the time.
