Supply Chain internship

Summary

Procurement section- prequalification of suppliers, preparation of tender documents, carrying out market surveys and appraising the suppliers.
Warehouse section- receiving of goods, works or services against the local purchase order and inspection and acceptance of deliverables against the specifications.
Stock control section- maintaining optimum stock levels, maintaining updated stock balances on stores ledger card and ensuring physical balances tally with the bin card balances.
Asset disposal- ensuring all the obsolete, unserviceable and surplus items are well disposed according to the law.
