Summary

I've been building software, mainly for the web, for over fifteen years. I have worked at large corporations and startups. I have worked on product teams as well as consulted and worked directly with clients. I am a practical-minded problem solver, I always want to understand the ultimate goal as well as the underlying issues. I am customer focused always and I believe that less is more when it comes to code.

I believe strongly in mentoring my junior colleagues. I always strive to write clean, human-readable code and to leave documentation behind for those who come after me. I am looking for a position where I can work closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful features that matter and make a difference. I have a wide range of experience with programming languages and technologies and I always care more about delivering value than I do about the specific stack I'm working in.

Expectations

I want to work for a company that values its people and most importantly trusts them. I want to have ownership of projects and features and be free to execute on them, with frequent feedback from stakeholders. I would love to work with a cross-discipline team who follow the agile principle of people over process.
