Summary

I have worked as a sofware developer for over 20 years in the aerospace industry. I have written code in C and C# professionally since 1999. I am also very fluent in Java, and have familiarity with C++ and Python. For the past 10 years I have been the lead developer on a very important product. I have a Masters degree in an unrelated hard science field (biochemistry). I am no stranger to research. I have taken data science courses at the graduate level including data mining. My strengths are writing elegant, efficient code that meets the requirements of my customer.

Expectations

Flexibility with time off and work schedule.
Remote with minimum travel.
Work in an innovative, exciting and fun industry.
I am not likely to accept a job in the defense industry as I need a change.
I would love to work in the gaming industry or other entertainment industry.
I also have a great affinity for the outdoors. Ultralight backpacking and mountain climbing are my passions.
