Summary

In my most recent professional experience as the Senior Project & Program Manager at Digital Turbine in Durham, NC, I have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing software development teams and ensuring the seamless execution of agile processes and ceremonies. Since joining in October 2020, I have played a pivotal role in delivering bug-free software that aligns with product requirements and contributes to the overall success of the organization.

My contributions extend across a spectrum of strategic initiatives, ranging from new product development to O&M initiatives, third-party software implementation, internal rollout, standing up internal operational programs, and process optimization. In my capacity, I have successfully led of 9 strategic initiatives, collaborating with agile teams averaging 12 members each. This involved converting product requirements into actionable stories for execution, accompanied by high-level effort estimates to facilitate strategic planning and clear communication.

One of my notable achievements lies in effectively managing national and international teams spread across diverse time zones. Through the establishment of strong relationships, fostering team collaboration, and defining strategies, I ensured that high-quality code was produced to drive results across agile teams, ultimately leading to on-time delivery. My most recent example of this achievement was guiding our development, architecture, and QA teams through a cloud to cloud migration effort where we transitioned from AWS to GCP cloud architecture. This project tapped into both internal and contract resources located around the globe.

Recognizing the need for continuous improvement, I took the initiative to drive process improvements within the Project Management Office (PMO) team. This involved standardizing status reporting, enhancing team management of requirements, and refining overall project structure to optimize service delivery. I utilized this opportunity to acquire feedback from the executive team to ensure we were delivering the right information on the right intervals to maintain stakeholder awareness and engagement. This feedback enabled us to fully optimize the support that the PMO team provided to the organization

In addition to my managerial responsibilities, I have been actively involved in mentoring new hires and junior Project Managers. By imparting PMI best practice methodology, I have contributed to the development of a skilled and successful project team, fostering rapid team member success. My commitment to excellence and dedication to project success have been the driving forces behind my achievements at Digital Turbine.

Adding to my current role at Digital Turbine, my career is also supported by Project and Program management experience in the healthcare and construction industries. I utilize each of these previous experiences to bind together the skills that I have developed and couple them with the trainings and certifications (PMP & PMI-ACP) that I have completed through PMI to deliver the highest quality results and management of each initiative.
