Sr. Network Engineer

Summary

I Served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network technologies that included switching, routing, routing protocols and I have passion for learning groundbreaking technologies.

I just recently left Kyndryl, IBM Company and my title there was Sr. Network Engineer/Network Architect. Reason being my fully remote job became hybrid. Since customer is in East of US I decided not to relocate. Anthem and Anthem Blue Cross was my customer, and I was responsible for complete network design and architecture. Specifically, my responsibilities were as follows and not limited to deploying network provisioning multiple Anthem Data Centers and disaster recovery sites, migrating from legacy Data Centers to Data Centers managed by Nexus Dashboard. Migrating smaller older data centers to Cloud. Kyndryl has several windows where and when you can make changes to production network and its apparent my job Is to make sure that the provisioning doesnt break production. I had several virtual labs to test out changes before adding them to production network. Provisioning ports using ACI switches and APIC architecture as well. L3 out provisioning for Border GW setup between Data Centers.

Besides network provisioning I was also responsible for Network change management documentation using Service NOW, extensive use of Wireshark to decode traces. Using Visio to configure Network Diagrams. Palo Alto Firewall to configure permit and deny policies to allow traffic between on prem and cloud. I am experienced in deployment of Cisco SD-WAN, using Cisco Viptela product and additionally I also used Cisco Meraki to deploy wired and wireless infra.

Prior to Kyndryl, I worked 12 years for Cisco, where I started in QA, ran Automated Regression, later moved to Customer solutions and last 7 years, I worked in TAC, Assistance Center, technical assistance center and Customer Solutions for Enterprise Customers. At Cisco, I worked with Enterprise Customers, using various Cisco Collaboration tools, such as Webex, Jabber, Telepresence and Voice of IP solutions products and services, help customers improve productivity, speed up decision-making, and streamline workflow processes.

Strong background in automation tools, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and network security, with a passion for adopting and implementing groundbreaking technologies.
