SQL Developer
Summary
An ex-sysadmin, ex-DevOps who now wants to continue in back-end software development.
I'd been working with MS SQL databases for five years, mostly writing stored procedures for the reporting services portal and ad hoc reporting scripts. I also have great experience in fixing, optimizing, and refactoring the T-SQL scripts that had been written by others, or having to completely redesign them sometimes.
Currently, I am working as a full-time SQL Developer for a company that develops POS software. We use PostgreSQL, and most of the business logic is implemented at the database level. My job here is to write, review, refactor, analyze, and optimize SQL routines that implement that business logic.
I want to continue as an SQL developer.
