Manual Testing:
Good knowledge of implementing Functional/ Integration/ System testing.
Good exposure of Smoke/ Sanity/ Ad-hoc/ Regression testing.
Aware of Compatibility/ Usability/ Retesting.
Expertise in writing/ reviewing/ executing test cases.
Better understanding of defect logging, tracking and life cycle.
Excellent understanding of Software testing life cycle (STLC) and
Software Development life cycle (SDLC).
Good Knowledge of creating and maintaining test execution reports and test case review templates/
traceability matrix.
SQL:
Good knowledge of writing SQL queries.
Experience in implementing DDL/ DML/ TCL commands.
Better understanding of writing sub queries and correlated queries.
Java:
Good knowledge of Implementation of classes and objects.
In-depth Knowledge of OOPs concept.
SELENIUM:
Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.
Cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
Java chosen for its readability and community.
IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA for development.
Test frameworks: TestNG, JUnit for structured tests.
Locating elements: ID, name, class, CSS, XPath.
Interacting with elements: click, sendKeys, getText, etc.
Waits (explicit and implicit) for synchronization.
Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
Test automation frameworks for structure.
Headless browsers for faster execution.
Handling JavaScript alerts, confirmations, prompts.
API: using postman
