Software Engineering Manager
Summary
Technical leader with nearly two-decades of experience building, growing, and leading engineers across multidisciplinary teams. Foundation in DevOps and Platform Engineering, and experienced building frameworks, setting standards, and helping engineers align on company vision to deliver best-in-class customer solutions. My goal is to help remove developer friction, simplify internal processes, and mentor and guide engineers to increase productivity, career trajectory for my teams, and overall engineering success.
I've worked in the Enterprise space releasing both desktop and cloud-based solutions, have experience in Aviation and working with the US Government, and helped hire and set priorities and deliverables for high-growth startups. I have a strong background in automation, DevOps, and release engineering, and have experience working with Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and mobile platforms as well as an extensive background setting up and maintaining ESX, virtualization, containerization, and cloud solutions.
I am looking for a role that will allow me to focus on leading high-performing teams of engineers, mentor and grow Developers of all skill levels, and help me further develop my career as a technical leader.

I'm excited to find a role that I will be passionate about. I enjoy giving back to the engineering community at large, and love working with engineers of all skill levels. I've managed engineers who were completely new to the industry all the way up to principal engineers and engineering leads and managers. Every engineer brings something to the table, and has helped me grow as a leader, both in helping someone find their voice or particular passion, or simply helping a more senior member of engineering staff to hone in on weak-spots to become even stronger. My focus is always on growth, career trajectory, and helping engineers find ways to standout and become superstars in an organization.
