Summary

Im a software engineer with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, experienced in building scalable, user-focused web applications. My journey began with True BASIC and Java in high school, eventually evolving into a deeper exploration of languages like C, Python, Haskell, and C# during my college years.

In industry, Ive worked with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and Adobe Experience Manager at General Motors, where I collaborated cross-functionally with design and QA teams to deliver modern, maintainable interfaces. Im passionate about creating interactive, engaging experiences from a cyberpunk roguelike game prototype in Unity to a dragon-themed Discord bot that tracks user progression and lore.

One of my proudest achievements is becoming a finalist for my Unity-based senior design project, which was recognized among all engineering and computer science projects at my university. I also received a digital design award in high school for my creative work in Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects skills I often bring into UI/UX work today.

I'm driven by challenges, curiosity, and the desire to build meaningful tools whether it's solving LeetCode problems to improve my algorithmic thinking or designing an API-driven platform from scratch.

Expectations

I'm looking for a role where I can grow as a developer while making a meaningful impact through the work I do. I want to be part of a team that values clean code, thoughtful architecture, and collaboration a place where I'm challenged to solve real-world problems and encouraged to keep learning.

Ideally, Id like to contribute to projects that involve building scalable systems, crafting engaging user experiences, or integrating with interesting APIs. Im especially excited by roles that strike a balance between autonomy and mentorship, where I can take ownership of features while still learning from more experienced engineers.

Ultimately, Im looking for a job where I can bring my creativity, technical skills, and passion for building to a product or mission I believe in and grow alongside a team thats just as driven.
