Software Engineer

Summary

A Software Engineer with experience building interactive user experiences and a breadth of knowledge in full stack web development. Before software I spent a few years in a marketing and creative role in e-commerce, then transitioned to Software Engineering after finding my passion for programming. Since then, Ive worked on a large variety of projects and eventually landed at a startup where I was a major contributor to their React front-end, working full-stack on several core features, continually improving UX and DX, and launching to production. During the pandemic, I decided it was best that I concentrate on my family, so I left that role to become a full time parent. Since then I've used my time strengthening my computer science knowledge and fundamentals, continuously learning different technologies. Most recently, I have been a Software Engineering Fellow, working with mentors from top tech companies solidifying and building up my computer science and engineering skills.

Expectations

I am looking to make a positive impact on people's lives, building software at scale, working in a full stack capacity, with a focus on building products users love to use. My ideal company will have DEI as a priority.
