Software Engineer
Summary
Studied at Gonzaga University where I received a B.S. in Computer Science -- education and coursework included CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and more) and exposure to a variety of programming languages / tools. Shortly after graduation, I was hired by a company where I took part in the full software development life cycle, including: requirements gathering, system design, software development and testing, code maintenance, version control, and more. Engineering meetings were held to discuss the status of projects, formulate solutions to development roadblocks, and consult with managers regarding expected results. The majority of professional development was done in JavaScript using NodeJS to build a REST API for a Serverless Application hosted via AWS Lambda.
Expectations
Seeking a new, challenging software engineering role -- ideally with potential for growth, team collaboration, and job stability. Someplace where I can learn as much as possible, contribute, and develop alongside more senior engineers.
