Software Engineer

Summary

I am currently a self employed full stack developer, using next.js with React and tailwind.css to create a range of websites. I gained strong experience in MongoDB & Node.js after ending my contract with Alliance AGCS. Prior to my this, I was a mechanical engineer with 3 years experience. This gave me many transferable skills which helped propel me into my software career. I have a passion for technology, problem solving and all things technical. I consider myself a very sociable, easy going person with good communication skills who would make a good fit within any team I might find myself in.

Expectations

Someting that allows me autonomy to work on a new or existing product. My previous work involved mostly database migrations from sql to mongo using node. While this was a good challenge it lead me to desire working on a product rather than a one off peice of code for moving and reformatting data
