Software Engineer
Summary
Ever since I was young and worked with my mother at her computer repair business, I have had a passion for technology that inspired me to go back to school after a few breaks and complete all of my Computer Science courses in 2 years while working full-time. Because I was working full-time while going to school full-time, I was unable to do an internship but I did take a variety of courses in Software Engineering, Software Architecture and Design, Web Development, Databases, Information Security and Privacy, and even built a small business website within a few weeks with my team in my Capstone course using React and MySQL. Most of my experience lies in retail and retail management but I am able to transfer those soft skills and troubleshooting skills and couple them with my knowledge from coursework to be a great addition to a new team.
Expectations
I would really like to find a company that would take a chance on a new graduate and that would be invested in the growth of their employees. A company that has opportunities for advancement would be an ideal company for me.
