Software Engineer

Summary

I'm a software engineer with the added benefit of a deep understanding of business and analytics. This knowledge has helped me bridge the communication gap between business and technical teams, while also broadening my understanding of my own tasks.

I work mostly in backend development using Java, with limited experience in TypeScript and Ruby. My knowledge also extends to SQL and noSQL databases and queries, with specific experience using DynamoDB, Redshift, and SQLServer. I am also experienced working with AWS technologies such as OpenSearch, S3, Lambdas, and Simple Queue Service (SQS).

When working on a project, my main focus points are:
- the end customer experience
- stakeholder communication
- clean, extensible code
- thorough testing

Expectations

I am looking for a position that will challenge me and allow me to grow as a backend developer. A position that allows me to put my analytical experience to use would be a bonus.
