Summary

I'm a back-end software engineer with 1.5 years of software development experience, and about 3 years total of tech experience (previously did SQL work). My main technologies that I've used on the job are Java/Spring, Groovy, Spock, AWS (Kinesis, Lambda, IAM, DynamoDB), MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server. I am also very comfortable with C#, so I would be very excited to expand my .NET skills. Python is also a language I am fairly comfortable with. I graduated in December of 2020 with a Bachelors in Computer Science, with a concentration of Software Systems. My main expertise is in distributed systems (microservices). I have also worked with a team to implement a hexagonal architecture with the sole focus of event sourcing.

Expectations

I'm excited to find a team that thrives in collaboration and communication. Team-oriented work is important to me, as having additional perspective when tackling problems can provide great insight, and I can also get feedback for my performance.
