Dear Hiring Manager,

I am a recent graduate of North-West University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information
Technology. I am confident that my education, skill set, and experience have prepared me to excel in this role.

During my studies, I gained a thorough understanding of programming languages, systems and network design, software engineering, database management, and web development. I also have a keen interest in computer security and cloud computing in AWS.

While I was here, I completed group projects where I was responsible for developing software applications, maintaining and troubleshooting computers and networks, and implementing security policies. I gained valuable experience working with various technologies, such as Windows and Linux, as well as a variety of programming languages, namely: C#, JavaScript, Java, Python and C/C++ .

I have excellent technical skills, the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to learning new technologies. I am confident that I can make a positive contribution to your IT team.

Expectations

My expectations as a graduate software engineer are to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering, develop problem solving skills, and gain experience with coding, debugging, and testing. I am also keen to work in a collaborative environment and to understand the entire software development process from requirements gathering to deployment. Additionally, I am looking to develop my communication and presentation skills and to become an active member of the software engineering community.
