Software Engineer

Summary

I'm a Navy veteran, father, and husband who has found a passion in software development over the last two years. Recently, I've completed a comprehensive full-stack software engineering certification program, which further honed my knowledge in Javascript, Python, and other vital tools for modern application development.

My military service as an Air Traffic Controller taught me the importance of effective teamwork, leadership, and communication. These skills, coupled with a strong work ethic and adaptability, have been invaluable in my software development journey.

During my software engineering bootcamp, I built several full-stack web applications using various tools such as React, NextJs, Tailwind CSS, Django, and the Django REST Framework. This included a couple of team projects where we used tools like Github and Figma, providing me valuable team experience.

I'm looking forward to utilizing and expanding my skills in future opportunities within the exciting world of software development.
