After graduating from university with a degree in Mathematics at the height of the pandemic, I realized that I didn't want to pursue a career in that field. I didn't enjoy what I was learning and couldn't imagine myself dedicating more years of my life to something I didn't love. I decided to teach myself coding and immediately fell in love. After a couple of months, I felt that I was ready to enroll in a boot camp, and by the end, I felt like I was a complete software engineer. I'm constantly excited to see the newest updates of technology and think about how I as a developer, can utilize them to the fullest for whatever future endeavors I may have. Always having to think outside the box to come up with a solution that can be solved in many different ways is such an important skill to have in the real world and software engineers utilize this on a daily basis. Unlike my time in university, software engineering is truly something I could dedicate my life to, and love every second of it.
Flexibility in location. I would love to work with kind and like-minded individuals.
