Summary

I graduated from one of the top universities in the Philippines. Since breaking into the tech industry in the US is not a walk in the park, after moving here, I joined Amazon as a Fulfillment Associate and moved up internally from there. I got promoted to the position of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Lead after a year and, shortly after, was accepted in the Amazon Technical Academy. I was really happy then because I got to work with an actual development team upon finishing the program. Unfortunately, despite being upskilled by the company, I am one of those who were laid off earlier this year.

Expectations

Hopefully the same flexibility as my last role where there were core hours where everyone should be present, otherwise we can work whenever we want. However, I am open to other setups given that the team is great and I am learning a lot.
