Software Engineer

Summary

I recently worked for 6 months at a fintech, where I had accomplished the following:

Developed and maintained real-time data streaming infrastructure on AWS Kinesis, allowing users to process, transform and persist data across a variety of use cases
Designed and implemented a testing pipeline to simulate the production environment, allowing the infrastructure team to deploy and iterate on changes to data streaming workflows
Utilized the testing pipeline to expose, monitor, and analyze critical SLA metrics such as data durability and end-to-end latency, visualizing these metrics on a stakeholder-facing dashboard
Migrated the data streaming infrastructure from AWS Kinesis to Apache Kafka and utilized the confluent-kafka library to re-implement existing architecture
