Summary

Starting out in the tech world, I quickly found my footing as a full-stack developer. My journey began at AppArmor, where I jumped into the deep end with both front-end and back-end development. It was here that I got my hands dirty with React Native, building a mobile app that wasnt just functional but really clicked with our users.

Moving on to Pathlight, I took on an even more exciting challenge. I led the development of a quality assurance calibration tool. This wasn't just any project; it was a complex blend of front-end finesse and back-end brains. We were tackling real issues like bias in agent evaluations, and it was super rewarding to see how my work made our feedback system more fair and effective.

Ive always been the kind of person who loves digging into data, and at Pathlight, I really got to flex this muscle. Working on our data integration pipelines, I found myself solving puzzles that were not only about coding but also about making sense of complex information. And let me tell you, coming up with a solution for the AI-generated grading feedback system was a head-scratcher, but figuring it out was a definite 'aha!' moment.

Throughout my career, Ive realized that its the mix of constant learning and adapting that keeps me going. Whether its tackling a tricky piece of backend logic or polishing up a user interface, Im all about diving in and figuring it out. What drives me is creating software that doesnt just work, but works well and has a real impact on people's lives.

Expectations

In my next role, Im really looking for a balance of mentorship and leadership opportunities within the realm of software engineering. I value an environment where I can continue to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced mentors. Their insights and feedback would be crucial in helping me refine my skills and understanding of advanced technical concepts.

At the same time, I'm eager to start taking on more leadership responsibilities. Whether it's leading a small project, mentoring junior team members, or taking the lead in a particular aspect of development, Im ready to step up and contribute more significantly to team and project leadership.

Additionally, I am particularly interested in roles that delve into problem spaces involving Artificial Intelligence. AI fascinates me, not just for its technical complexity but also for its vast potential to solve real-world problems. Im keen on opportunities where I can apply my software engineering skills to AI-driven projects, contributing to innovative solutions and staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
