Summary

For the past 3 years, I have proven myself to be an integral part of web maintenance teams at Fox Corporation. Most recently, I led a cross-functional project to bring a premium experience to our Fox Weather App users. We were able to monetize a subscription service that will eventually become the blueprint for the rest of the company's apps. When I left, we had more than 2,500 premium app users, but that number was beginning to grow exponentially. I also worked closely with the SEO team, implementing successful strategies to drive more traffic to our sites. Responsive design was crucial, so I am experienced at coding and testing for a wide variety of devices and screen sizes.

Before that, I built accessible features on data dashboards at Qualtrics; I'm extremely interested in accessibility and would like to continue working on projects that focus on that aspect. I have also served as a technical mentor for software engineering students at the coding bootcamp where I learned the craft.

I have previously worked in a SaaS role where the company was rapidly growing and expanding its clientele. I have also worked as a TV news producer on primetime shows, and there is nothing that lights a fire under you quite like a breaking news situation during a live broadcast (which happens more often than youd think). My background is unconventional, but it lends me certain strengths that will be impactful throughout my career. When given the chance, I know I can adapt and excel at anything thats thrown my way.

Expectations

I would love to work for a fast-growing, mid-size company. A collaborative, cross-functional role is most exciting to me. Working at a company whose mission I can stand behind 100% is extremely important to me. I want to grow within the company, and hopefully stay for 5+ years. That's the dream!
