Summary

I am a Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in both systems engineering and software development and a strong passion to create positive impact using technology. For the first half of my career, I worked as a Systems Engineer, taking care of production servers and applications that supports multiple B2B services. I used Java, Servlets, HTML, CSS to create dashboards and used shell scripting to develop and maintain legacy application servers. During the second half, I worked as a Software Developer, creating highly interactive web applications using React.js, redux and Node.js. I am experienced with TDD and have used Jest for writing unit tests and Cypress for automated testing. Additionally, I have also worked with the user experience optimization team to conduct A/B and multivariate tests across the site using Optimizely.

I also have experience working with multiple projects wherein I have designed and developed Restful Web Services, containerized, and deployed applications in GKE, incorporated Apache Kafka as a message broker, and used Amazon RDS for data persistence.
