Summary

React Development -

Contributed to the design and development of multiple responsive and user-friendly data visualization applications which provided users the ability to draw insights from aggregated data, as well as make configuration updates to their data pipelines.

Used many techniques to improve app performance, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching. Designed components in a scalable way to support future additions/extensions.

Data Engineering -

Designed and developed several scalable ETL pipelines using Python and the pandas library. Pipelines were orchestrated on many different schedules, and had features such as logging, configuration, and email alerts for high-priority events.

Led the design and development of an event-driven data ingestion engine using the Snowflake cloud data platform. Files of many different types would be ingested, dynamically matched, cleaned, and merged into a canonical representation of the data.

Expectations

A full stack web developer position, ideally using the React framework. I would also be happy to utilize my expertise in building data pipelines, general programming of business logic, and data warehousing to build clean, scalable web applications.
