Software Engineer
Summary
I led a project to migrate a set of large reports from Cobol/Mainframe implementations to a modern Java/Spark implementation that was more reliable and efficient than the existing Cobol reports. I've also been a key contributor / tech lead one multiple internal full stack applications that utilized Java, Spring, PL/SQL and Ext.js. I have also completed a doctoral dissertation that relied on rigorous mathematical proofs and high performance software written in C++.
Expectations
I'm looking for a remote job that would allow me to continue to grow and improve my skill set as a full stack or backend engineer. Gaining professional experience in different sets of technologies (Ruby on Rails, React, Vue.js, Go, Rust, etc.) would also be a plus.
