Summary

I am writing to express my interest in any Software Engineering positions, apprenticeships, or internships at your company. As a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science in 2022, I am excited about the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

My coursework has provided me with a strong foundation in programming languages such as C++, Typescript, and HTML/CSS, as well as experience in web development and data structures and algorithms. I have additional experience with machine learning in Python and shell scripting in Bash. I am eager to apply my knowledge to real-world projects and learn new programming languages and tech stacks utilized by your teams.

My most recent and most successful project, Nexus, was a full-stack web application I developed with a team of four software engineers. This project demonstrated my ability to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing agile scrum methodologies, managing project deadlines and deliverables, and putting the users first. The recognition that Nexus received from the computer science department and university community highlights my technical competencies, versatility, and leadership.

I am a quick learner, have excellent problem-solving skills, and am always willing to go the extra mile to achieve my goals. I am confident that my passion for software engineering, desire to learn, and ability to work in a team makes me an ideal candidate for this position.
