-- Led the low-level design of a new service which can forward SmartAlert to a Security partner. Using Java, developed RESTful public APIs that can handle 100 concurrent user requests with 200ms latency.
-- Using AWSs Simple Notification Service (SNS) and Simple Queue Service (SQS), built a message queue to handle Guard profile change requests from customers.
-- Used CDK to create CloudWatch monitors and alarms on service statistics, API errors & latency, and dependency metrics.

Alexa SmartHome Guard Plus
-- Partook in the low-level design of Alexa SmartHome Guard Plus, which added three features to Alexa Guard including activity detection and emergency helpline in the Alexa React Native mobile app.
-- Using Java, defined Api contracts & data models and developed backend APIs that made sequential service calls on an ECS/EC2 AWS micro-service.
-- Using Mosaic Design Systems, built a React Native functional component that can stream 720p HD video footage.
-- Using Redux and Reselect, built data selectors to feed app contexts into existing React Native components.
