Summary

I am a skilled software engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and a Master's of Science in Operations Technology from Cornell University. Currently, I work with Amazon as part of the AWS Workspaces Web team. Amazon Workpspaces Web is a fully managed workspace built specifically to facilitate secure access to internal websites from existing web browsers, without the administrative burden of specialized client software.

I have about 3 years of experience working with Amazon. My experience includes launching a new service and creating the frontend console in React and TypeScript. I developed acceptance tests in Cypress to enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for our console code pipeline. On the backend, I worked on architecture comprising 6-7 microservices and released 7 public APIs for user access logging feature that logs historical browsing data into the Kinesis data streams.

Furthermore, I have worked on features such as enabling/disabling IP addresses in remote browsing sessions and using AWS Identity Center for authentication into browsing sessions. I also mentored an intern in implementing the feature of allowing and blocking URLs on a Workspaces Web browsing session, which was later put into production.

I am proficient in system design, with expertise in Amazon Web Services tools such as DDB, SQS, Kinesis, DLQ, Fargate, Lambda, and EC2. Additionally, I have strong software engineering skills in both the backend (Java, Python) and frontend (React, TypeScript) aspects.

As part of my on-call rotations, I have identified and mitigated several customer issues on an urgent basis. Moreover, I have strategized and executed multiple feature deployment plans, ensuring timely launch without errors or missed dependencies.
