Summary
In my current role at PayU as an Associate Software Engineer, I have been working on refactoring a loan originating system (LOS) written in Java. I have analyzed the existing code and identified areas for improvement, including fixing bugs, improving code readability, and increasing performance. Additionally, I have implemented rate limiting on the API level using Django Throttling, flyway DB migrations, and SonarQube using Github Actions to automate code quality checks and static analysis. I have also provided on-call support for API Lending and LOS, and assisted with bug fixes for them.
I gained experience in a variety of programming languages, technologies, and frameworks, including C/C++, Java, Python, Algorithm, SQL, Django, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Kibana, MicroServices, MySql, New-Relic, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL, and Postman.
