Summary

I would describe myself as a passionate and inquisitive person who is continuously learning to use technology to try and make a difference. In my professional life, I look for companies that aim to simplify the lives of its customers, make it easy, make it fun, and where I can learn, develop and grow.

I was a Software developer for 3 years at Amazon. I learnt a lot during that time and was able to make an impact on millions of customers worldwide. I worked on the notification manager feature, in the Alexa App and used React native and Java to develop it. This feature eliminated the difficulty that the customers faced while managing notifications for different skills.
I took the initiative to develop an internal tool to help engineers, leadership and executives of Alexa org to resolve customer related issues, for example, the notification light would keep blinking, theyd get notifications on one device and not on the other, and sometimes theyd get notifications during quiet hours. This was a full stack project and was implemented using React with Typescript for frontend, Java spring for backend and aws services - amplify, lambda and elastic search.

I worked on building microservices in Alexa notification delivery platform to support 6000 TPS scale while delivering notifications to customers. Apart from these projects I took part in various oncall and peak readiness activities and helped scale and descale multiple services. I wrote and fixed unit and integration tests in order to make the pipelines full CD.

And after 3 years I joined Bolt. At Bolt, I worked as an SDET for an year. I developed and implemented integration tests for e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce. I primarily did cross browser test automation using Playwright, Selenium and Node.JS, ensuring smooth deployments. I supported the developers with API testing and often used Postman to assist them. I closely monitored daily deployments in Jenkins and provided on call support.
