Summary

I was a full-stack developer at Redfin from September 2021 - November 2022. I contributed to and lead several projects for the RedfinNow organization on the Home Valuation and Asset Tools (HEAT). We focused on building scalable, highly-reliable, cloud-based Java microservices and UI features to support them. We also often partnered with analytics to create products that drive pricing accuracy by leveraging Machine Learning model predictions throughout offer-building processes.

Expectations

I expect to work in a highly-collaborative environment, with opportunities to work with Engineers of all levels. I also want any team I work on to communicate closely with product folks so I have confidence we're developing the best product for our users. I also want to work in an environment with a friendly culture and plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, receive mentoring, and mentor.
