Summary

I am a software developer having completed several courses focused on programming and expanding my knowledge of different aspects of the development lifecycle. My most recent full-time course with Code Institute covered a diverse range of development languages, frameworks, and skills, with the final project being a full stack e-commerce website with integrated payments using Django and Stripe to sell clothing and whatever else the client wants to sell. Before this my courses focused mainly on OOP using the languages Java and C# in which I obtained my JAVA SE8 associate certificate.

I recently completed a work placement where I used mostly .NET there but had some exposer to Angular toward the end. I assisted with bugs and small features, and it was a good experience for me as I take my first steps in the industry. Outside of the work experience I try to work on my own projects and continue to learn and improve through videos and other helpful resources online. I am also doing courses with Udemy, a Java course to refresh my Java knowledge and a Unit Testing course as it is an area I need to improve on.

Expectations

A place that will give me some challenging work with plenty of people to talk to and a general culture of trying to work toward the same thing. As I'm looking for my first role it would be nice to have people I can learn from also.
