Summary

Programmer for the Air Force with over 5 years of professional experience. Developed and deployed multiple web applications within the PlatformOne domain. Proficient in Agile and XP principles. Experienced in Test-Driven Development and knowledgeable in multiple test libraries across programming languages. Certified leadership skills through Airman Leadership School and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant while Active Duty. Willing to learn and especially willing to be a mentor to others.

Expectations

Most of my experience is in web-based applications in React/Typescript. I've worked on multiple applications that are hosted on DoD Platform One, all of which need thorough unit testing to attain an 80%+ positive code coverage in order to build successfully. I've worked on applications that use Spring Framework for mapping controllers, services, and entities together, as well as python Django REST framework. I'm well versed in GIT version control, which is perfect for remote work. I want to be able to learn as much as I can and as soon as my learning threshold tips, I want to be able to mentor others.
