Summary

I made the decision in September of 2021 to change my path and pursue a career in Software Development. I developed my skills through a bootcamp and was given the opportunity to work for Carvana in April 2022. I honed my skillset at Carvana, responsible for maintaining and developing new, test-driven features for 5 applications that were employee-facing. During my tenure, a few high profile features that I developed were actively being used in production. These features were built using TypeScript, React, Material UI, ReactQuery, some Redux, Orval, and Styled Components by Emotion, among other helpful libraries. Additionally, I was a contributor to the maintenance of our build and release CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. I was also responsible for migrating the storage method of the builds within Azure DevOps.

I was impacted by the recent Carvana layoffs in late November. I'm back in the hunt looking for a great place to provide and grow my skillset!

Expectations

I'm looking for a company that values culture, communication, and teamwork as well as a trusting approach to their individual contributors. The ideal company is one that values team building while still focusing on building high quality products.
