Summary

I am a Cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of IT experience. I have worked repairing computers. The repairs could be as easy as replacing a hard drive and reimaging the computer to removing viruses/rootkits/Trojans/worms that pretty much trashed the operating system and getting it to a functioning state without having to perform a reimage.

I have been a copier/printer technician which involved repairing commercial grade copiers and printers to being a system administrator of servers that I built, installed, and maintained at customer locations for my organization's managed print service program. The servers ran print accounting software which was used to track the cost of printing and allowed the customer to understand and manage their costs.

I have worked as a help desk agent. In that role, I supported end users technology needs which included but was not limited to account lockouts, password resets, printer issues, multifactor authentication issues, virtual machine issues, Microsoft Windows and Office products issues, Apple computer issues, and more.

In the last 5 years I have been a Cybersecurity Engineer in identity and access management. In this role, I am an Active Directory and Delinea (Centrify) admin. I grant and remove access to Linux/AIX/Oracle/Solaris/Windows servers, Exchange mailboxes, AD groups, and applications. I utilize Splunk and Quest Change Auditor to research audit requests and account lockouts. I ensure that policies are being followed and always follow the concept of least privilege. Doing so I work closely with the privileged access management team and assist with Cyberark related issues when needed. I support multifactor authentication issues and provision tokens for teammates.

I have earned the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+. I am working on the CompTIA PenTest+ certification with an expected completion date of December 2023.
