Summary

I have been involved with SharePoint for over 18 years and have always tried to share and pass on my passion and enthusiasm for the platform with everyone I work with.
Assisting with the upgrade of Office 365 experience for employees and external contributors. Making sure the technical setup is futureproof. Lifting the general knowledge around IT for end users with digital literacy tracks.
In my recent roles I have assisted user adoption and development through practical demo's and conducted various in depth training sessions either one to one, classroom or Webinars on O365 collaboration Apps, i.e. SharePoint, Teams, Delve, OneDrive, and introduction courses on most of the other O365 Apps, i.e. Planner and Power BI, helping those new to Office 365 to discover the benefits of online teamwork, especially around product/project channels, and links to Team Knowledge-bases, using my O365 roll-out site on my test tenant focusing on Migration, Governance, Retention & Security plus a dedicated Train the Trainer (Champion) site, with FAQ's, Tips & Tricks and other application video tutorials.
In addition, I have supported various transformation projects and migration activities from SharePoint On Premise, and network file shares to O365 (Sharegate)

Expectations

Understand business requirements and success criteria for the use of Office 365 and SharePoint proposing additional training needs
Support the prototyping of new solutions through rapid iteration, using principles of agile project management.
Liaise with other departments within Shared Services IT and external suppliers to understand training requirements.
Identify, define and document supporting processes where required and improve efficiencies using electronic forms where appropriate.
Work with the owners of the business units estate of Office 365 SharePoint Sites to maintain compliance to (and continually improve) SharePoint governance through education and training.
Work with O365 administrators to configure Office 365 optimally for business units.
Ensure that the training is relevant to Mities SharePoint sites and Office 365 in accordance with information architecture and governance.
Present regular updates to senior stakeholders, managing expectations and influencing positive outcomes.
Review emerging technologies and methodologies.
Be an ambassador for Office 365 and mobile working.
