Expectations

Ive built my technical writing career by learning and understanding complex information and then distilling that information into clear, concise content based on audience needs. I also have extensive experience in cross-department and department-wide groups and initiatives to address documentation strategy, tools, processes, and information sharing. I want to be part of a high-functioning, integrated, collaborative team that delivers high-quality end-user product documentation and internal support content.

I might not know a specific tool, but I understand categories of tools, such as authoring and publishing tools (XML, DITA, HTML, markup), source code and version control systems, and content management systems. If I don't know something, I learn it. Ive spent my career doing just that.
